Bay Street Group is pleased to announce the appointment of two new senior executives to its leadership team. Chief Executive Officer, David Spiteri, welcomes Ruth Azzopardi as Chief Revenue Officer and Georgette Abela Caruana as Chief Financial Officer.

Ruth holds extensive experience in revenue management within the hospitality sector. Before joining Bay Street Group, she served at international hotel chains including Hilton, InterContinental, Melia & Kempinski, where she led significant revenue growth. Her work experience includes exposure at the national and global levels. She holds an MSc in Management and Diplomas in Digital Marketing and Hotel Management. In her new role with Bay Street Group, Ruth will oversee all revenue-generating functions, working to optimise tenant and commercial performance.
Georgette Abela Caruana is a qualified finance professional (FCCA, MIA, CPA) with a strong background in audit, financial management, and corporate governance. As CFO, Georgette will lead the finance function, strengthen financial controls, and support strategic investment and growth initiatives across the Group.
With Ruth and Georgette now onboard, Bay Street Group reinforces its commitment to operational excellence and sustainable growth across its diverse portfolio, which includes Bay Street Shopping Complex, Rainforest Cafe Malta, Hyatt Regency Malta, and be.HOTEL Malta.
